hobbies :reading i guss oh theres a manga called katana on onemanga.com
its pretty good.

fav weapon:katana i have one with dragons on the tsuba.

fav warrior i don't really pay attention that much to stuff like that.watches to much anime.

Welcome to the group!
My nickname is Fox. =P
Okami means "Great Deity" though, not wolf.

I am sure you're like my other group; Japanese Culture.

Okami can also mean great spirit and also refer to a higher ranking government official(though this is rarely used anymore).

Plus Kitsune is a fox spirit not one who loves foxes. Inari is the ruler or lead Kami over Kitsune, to see a Kitsune is not necessarily a good or bad thing, it could bring great luck or great misfortune depending on where and when it was seen.

Name: Evan, but you can call me Kami if you want.
Hobbies: Martial Arts, studying/learning, reading, weight lifting, Asian arts(particularly Japanese), languages, philosophy (including war), and cultures.
Favorite Weapon: My body
Why: It can never be used against me nor will it ever betray me.
Favorite Warrior: Well, my favorite warriors are the Hwarang ("Flower Knights"), so I would have to say general Yoo Shin Kim. Oh! and Miyamoto Musashi.
Why: I was inspired by their courage and greatly respect their value system as well. As for Yoo Shin Kim, he was a Silla Dynasty general at the age of 15 who eventually led the foundation for unification in Korea. (He was also a part of the Hwarangdo)

Yes you are most welcome, friend.
Very interesting seeing some Korean background information. Korean warriors are often overlooked. I read a bit about them, but aside that my only experience/knowledge about Korean Art of War is the martial arts aspect and whatever I learnt that had any historical leniency from the MMORPG "Nexus."
I remember a fellow named Kim Yusin who peaked my interest. I am not sure if he is the same one you are speaking of. I am not familiar with the proper romanization.
I love how you spoke of your body as something that can never be used against you nor will it ever betray you. That is a very astute perspective.

Thank you very much for the compliment and the welcome, I really appreciate it.
As for Kim Yusin, I would have to investigate that in due time. Moreover, you might like this:

It's just a general family tree of the Korean martial arts, with some ties to Japanese martial arts.
