We had tomatoes in our mailbox for Halloween, later found out that it was my classmates who did that lame trick.

I've had my bikelight stolen once, that made me freaking mad. Who the hell is soo poor that they steal a bikelight? wtf?

The second place I lived in apart from my parents was a trailer on the usual concrete/wooden posts with a front and back porch addition. The people who lived in the house before I lived there were alright but one was a suspected rat for some drug related bit, just a built up suspicion for why she wasn't in jail, talked about it enough to have to consider it.

Anyway, for the first three weeks a few cars would creep by during the night. I had never dealt with a stare everyone down sitting on your front porch kinda area so ... I just smoked everyday and played a whole bunch of L2, my roommates had done it before and talked some shit for a while, just playing around for fun mostly. Aside from our carport we would use both of the yards for parking, they were decently sized ... its a rental so whatever with the bad grass, the front yards spots ran perpendicular to the front porch and house. The cars stopped passing by, which was a nice change, but a week later around 2 AM a truck rammed into the front porch, smashing a bit of it (mostly rotting wood + grill guard so we were told by a neighbor). Good thing that the house didnt fall off its supports though but the hot water line's coupling did break off which was taken care of a week later, too lazy/high ... just turn the water main off until a friend/friends came over for a party and we didnt have dedicated water to clean cups with and for the bathrooms.

I'm really glad the house stayed put as it might have fallen down into a small creek area, later on a friend of ours hit the porch the same way ... but he was just being a moron in his mustang.

Once I was in a car with a friend of mine, a standard, on a incline with a stop sign we were sitting at. A middle aged woman pulled up directly behind us (barely inches cause we were kinda taking a bit because the guy who was driving had stalled the car there before and wanted to do it right) and we ended up falling back into her car. She got out and got really pissed at us and called for a cop/asked for insurance. The cop ( I used to live next to him in my parents house/ knew his son, maybe helped) told the woman she was at fault. So nothing really happened other than adding another "you remember that one time..." story and maybe some paranoia about that stop sign, thanks be because screw paying for lexus' bumper paint and scratch repair.

... I'm not really sure if the second one really counts, but that's still a move someone has probably had to pay for unjustly.

Not of late, but I and the husband moved to a very small town where crap like what you're describing gets Taken. Care. Of. Very. Quickly.
If I broaden the description of 'low lifes', I could probably include my abusive and robot-like ex-supervisor, an ex-CEO of my former company (who is still in the slammer for insider trading, thankfully - after his mismanagement tanked the company and reduced the value of the employees' 401(k)s by about 90%, since we weren't allowed to sell the matching company stock to get rid of it before it fell off a cliff, unlike our managers), and an ex-fiancee with the extravagant tastes who put me through bankruptcy court when he broke up with me (granted, it was a long time ago, but things like that tend to stick in one's memory, at least as something not to get involved with again) and stuck me with the bills.

The worst low life encounter in the two years was when I cut the ties with a friend of my about a year ago. When I first met him, back in '01, he was married to a nice lady and was sort of like a big, friendly, overenthusiastic St. Bernard. He was a little bit scattered, a lousy business-man, pretty bad about keeping house, but he didn't strike me as dangerous. He struck me as having an acute case of ADD, going from project to project and not completing things. When he and the wife went separate ways, I lost track of him for a few years, until the day I encountered him again at my office. I discovered that he'd fallen into the BDSM underground thanks to his second wife (I guess she had some issues) and had developed some seriously creepy personality traits as a result. I found out about all of this when he showed up at my then-office, wanted to go out to lunch, laid all of the above on me in a loud voice (making everyone within earshot at the restaurant stare at us) and then screamed at me about being judgemental when I told him I thought he needed to see a counselor. The rest of lunch consisted of him telling me about his financial woes. Then he claimed he didn't have the money for the lunch. I ended up paying for his meal and my own. Thankfully, we'd taken my car, so I wasn't at his mercy for a ride back to the office. The whole encounter left me feeling very uneasy, so I asked around a bit and found out he'd been hitting on underaged teenaged girls at SCA events (I stopped playing long ago, but I still have friends involved with the organization) and had been banned from the local groups. I also found out from a second source that he had emotionally and physically abused most of the women that he'd dated after his second divorce. I have not, thankfully, seen him since.*shivers* Nor do I really want to remake his acquaintance. At his point, I have the sinking feeling that the next time I hear about him it will involve a search for a body. I think I got off lightly in that all he soaked me for was lunch that day.

I'm lucky that at present, my life is relatively scumbag-free. I'm also working hard to keep it that way.

I got surrounded by 4 drunk guys who started to feel me up, as a self defense expert I held them off, luckily the idiots did it in a pretty public place and a group of guys came over and scared them off pretty good, and escorted me to safety. Was upsetting to have that happen to me, but you know, shit happens, fuck it...move on.

Damn that's scary! These punk teenagers on bikes rode by and slapped my ass and then sped off laughing. That's the extent of my experiences with sexual harassment though

They sound like dicks ah shit like that happens, as long as they stayed on the bike and didn't pursue you further. If you ever get surrounded, find a gap in the group and break through and run. I wasn't fortunate to have a gap, so I had to fight but breaking through and running is the ideal thing to do. Why fight when you can run to safety.

Why did you chase someone with a knife for throwing an egg? I can think of no place in the world, not even the most militant countries, that allow deadly force against egg-throwing teenagers. YOU lady, are equally messed up. I would be angry too if someone egged my house. I would shout too if someone was on my lawn. Chasing children with a knife for throwing eggs is ludicrous. Get counseling.

Yeah I was walking outside on my college campus at night with my roommate when it happened. They rode off right away, it was probably some sick game or dare. We were near the dorms anyway so I don't think they would have tried anything else. I always carry pepper spray with me now though. And you're right, running is probably the best thing.

What kind of self defense moves did you have to use before the other group of guys helped scare them off?

Ah right well being in Uni myself, they were probably drunk and disorderly lol.

I grappled and threw one guy, kicked another guy in the face as he came towards me, not the best option as kicks are easily blocked but it worked and elbowed a third. By then some nice guys came over to help me out. The odds were horrible 4 huge guys against me, so I'm really glad they came to help or I could have gotten injured badly.

One time this kid would only talked about video games and he wouldn't shut up about it, it was real annoying to hear about zombie games all day, it's like talking to a parrot that repeats every f#^2$&ng thing over and over again

Man that's just sad really. People who do that are basically jealous. Usually of someone else's life style - what they look like or something like that. Idiots!

I remember when I was really young, a group of lads thought it was funny to lock me in a shed that I couldn't get out of and then leave me there until someone found me later that evening - my family was out looking for me and the police. I mean, you gotta have serious mental issues to do something like that to a young kid.

The sad life of idiots ... end result ... Prison or worse!!

That's awful Yeah obviously they had something wrong with them. I don't understand how some people can be so cruel.

Hopefully you and those guys scared them enough that they won't try that on another woman.
