I would everything run its course. Humans will eventually die, technology will advance, wars would still happen. Only when the human race kills itself, I would recreate the Earth and humans with all the necessary skills to survive on this new Earth, but not without their faults. I would recreate every last extinct animal and perishable recource, leave humans with nothing but primitive technology and the wisdom of how they destroyed themselves so that they could better themselves and then let them live the lives they create. And so once again, let everything run its course.

I would never, ever want to be God.
Think of all the fears being confessed.
Think of hearing everyone's millions and millions of screams of pain and suffering.
Think of the emotional torture you would fight to control.
Think of all the sadness overwhelming your people's hearts.
Think of all the responsibility weighing down on your shoulders.
You would have to deal with that ALL THE TIME.
You would have no breaks, you would not be able to give up, ever, because God does not change.
You would have to be everybody's hero.
You would have to love your enemies.

I am 12. I can't have sex at my age, and I can't get married -- that would be immoral. Yes, I am not giving it life, but that is still not KILLING life. And it is still not my fault, nor can I stop that process.
