Made a short comic about a humanoid penguin and myself with DBZ-like powers. I still got the various drawings in my closet. My friend that rode the bus with me inspired me to draw. He also drew a humanoid penguin but he was shorter. I made mine as tall as me. I continues drawing till I moved back to the US when I was 15,16. I lost my drive and somewhat lost my talent. I can still draw objects well but kindof suck on living things (humans, humanoids, creatures, etc).

BigBroAnime 9 cr points Send Message: 20 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/30/12 I sort of have my own manga going on at school: My latest story is this Title: Akira Tomoi Jr. High, it's about a school for juvenile delinquents the main character is a boy who was blamed for something awful at his old school. The only reason he stays at the school is because of a girl that he has a major crush on, Well It sucks for him because the school is split in to two Boy's Side and Girl's Side, and they are never allowed to talk to each other (EVER!!!), even worse her dad is the superintendent of the school. Pretty good story for an 11 year old :sweatingbullets:, Right?!?!?!, I'll upload it if anyone wants me to.

I've never been terribly talent at drawing. I'm descent, and with alot of hard work, I might be 'good' someday, but I rarely draw. It's something I dabble in from time to time, but don't take seriously because I know I'll never be as good at it as some other people. I just don't have the skill - disappointing, but whatever. However, I do write, and there is at least one of my stories that is highly influenced by anime and manga. Optimally, I'd like to see it actually end up as a manga or an anime because I feel it fits the format of those styles better than their western counterparts. I could probably never do the art for such a thing, but I'd still love to see it happen.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 10/4/12 I would love to complete my own comic/manga but unfortunately my artistic ability peaks at stick figures. Writing, however, I can do. I have been working on and off on a story for over 15 years now. It has undergone several rewrites since I began work on it. Overall progress has been slow due to life getting in the way. Thankfully my father is a much better artist than I. However, convincing him to not draw it in the style of silver age superhero comics took some doing and many many concept sketches.
