can a mexican be a manga artist cuz i just love to draw;ive been drawing manga for like 5 years now and i just wona make it a livin ^.^ but sum ppl say only japanese ppl can be manga artists sum ppl say ill make it if i try hard...who knows...; ive got my plot i just need to get the characters drawn up(yay!) ill post if i get a chance

Sure, its a dream.
To make it a reality, well first there's the poses I must practice, better at colouring, better at LIGHT (oh yes, definitely that one ). Well the industry I plan to get in is similar (illustration) but its still far until I settle on a style - and must improve the skills of course~

I'm a writer. See this, it's sentence structure!
I don't think I have the skills to draw reams of manga characters, I don't even pretend I do.

As for the people wanting to learn photo shop, just download it, it's not very big. Skrew around with it and you'll eventually get better at it. It's just Microsoft paint on cocaine. Once your familiar enough with how the layers, colouring and masking works, theres tons of tutorials on deviantart.com for inking/colouring anime characters.

Check out some of this cool stuff, square enix just ran a competition on deviantart for their new game.
