Well the subs are probably on a different layer...(Unless its been converted a million times) you could possibly manually do it... but really their isn't much you can do.

eek. there;s pretty much nothing :\
That's one of the main reasons I didn't get a video iPod.
but when I watch dramas on my friend's iPod, I can see the subs.
what's the screen size?

Yea its pretty pointless to put subs on a screen that small. Simple solution=just use dubs. If you really want though I suppose you could get the original without subs and sub it huge yourself, but thats too much work.

I can read subs perfectly on my video ipod. I just need to go and buy the cord that hooks up the ipod on the TV.

only way that I KNOW OF is you have to hardsub it yourself....

first you have to get vobsub, this is the program that allows you to view the subtitles on your video file.

when you have that all set make sure your srt file is the same as your video file, once it is double click your video so it'll play. VOBSUB should pop up as a little green arrow on your bottom right task bar. double click that, it'll bring up a preferences/options looking screen.
click on the button that says "ARIAL", from there you can change the font and size..
normally I like to watch my videos in ARIAL/ARIAL BLACK size 22 or 24. Custom it
to however you want, but do realize that after size 24 the font does get a little too screen hungry when there's a lot of text. It's entirely on you how you want to go about doing this..

now that you have vobsub set with the new size, hardsub your episodes....
get either avirecomp or winavi (registered, trust me there's ways to get it)

and both programs can hard sub episodes for you.
if you have a lot expect it took take some time on your part.

but overall that should be it.
