I only skip the recap episodes...
I believe that Wolf's Rain had the most recaps episodes that I have ever skipped in all the series that I have watched.

I skipped episode 73 of Reborn, just because I knew it was a filler and 74 had come out before 73 and I didn't want to wait. Exciting future arc goodness, after all. I did go back and watch it though.

Only ones that are mainly flashbacks..I watch most fillers but other than flashbacks I don't skip any..
When I say flashbacks I mean an Episode that is All flashbacks and nothing else..If there are parts that make up the the next episode I will watch it..The Whole thing xP

i find out what the episodes are about and just skip what i think is boring. if i miss something, i'll go back but i usually figure out what happened from what i can read without watching it. if i haven't looked it up yet then i don't skip because if i do, i'll miss something and i'm too lazy to fix those problems

only done it with naruto since I had gotten bored with Naruto and therefore stopped watching it... then when I wanted to start again I couldnt remember how far I had seen and couldnt be bothered with finding out so I just started with shippuden leaving the last part of Naruto alone
