But oh well, Star Wars is still awesome. Anyone who disagrees never saw the original movies.

fixed it for ya.

Wow, it's like a glorified model rocket. Too bad it didn't last long. Maybe they'll try again. I wonder if firing it off at an angle would have helped?

Here is the best crash I've seen in person. Air Force Thunderbird! Typical lawndart imo.

Just goes to show you why you don't build something that is large scale and being powered by solid fuel rockets using mainly balsa wood (and some aluminum)...I can't believe that they actually expected it to hold together! I mean really, they should have went with carbon fiber covering a nice aluminum space frame. The thrust to weight ratio would have still been more than adequate, and if it isn't, there are [likely] always more potent solid rocket fuels out there (depends on what they were using as propellant)...

Oh god, that is making me sound a bit...Umm...Never mind...

^Yeah that comment better be sarcastic, because if you are calling that "Star Wars technology"...

Anyways, on a slight tangent, sci-fi tech very often becomes real...Computers like we know them now were once science fiction, as was much of what the US military and its contemporaries have at their disposal...How about space flight even?...There is much...
