the tenth doc is the bestt doc !!! he will forever be my doc and also captain jack got to be his best companion ( even if he is only on it for a short time)

but at the end of the day i got to say i am more of an torchwood fan =DDDD captain jack harkness !!!!!!!!!! woohoo

The 10th Doctor really got me into the series, but I love the 11th and 11th's cast way too much. At first I was a bit stubborn, but I've since fallen so in love with the cast and storylines, with the recent seasons <3 I do miss Captain Jack Harkness, though!

Also, there's going to be a sneak peek of the Doctor Who Christmas special during this year's Children in Need showing on November 18th! So excited- I have Doctor Who withdrawel right now!

Doctor Who is a great show. I'm not just saying that because I'm a science fiction fan, but it has a nice mix of all the genres of TV. It's not surprising that the show has been running for 47 years. I wonder if it will still be on when I'm dead.
There are a number of plot holes in some of the arcs, such as the way the Doctor travels all over time and space yet everyone he meets is bloody British. But they're really just a few nit-picks.
What I like most about this show is how it takes thought experiments to a whole new level. It made me question a few things like what it means to be human and if androids or robots can be human as well. Or if the Doctor is really the 'good' gut since he is able to destroy a whole species of time lords, sure the end result turned out okay, but did that really justify the means and all those deaths?

Liked the 9th Doctor, loved the 10th, not so fond of the 11th. Of course, to be fair, I've only seen half a season of the 11th, so I'll give him a little more time before I make my final judgment, but he'll never beat the 10th and he's gotta make a serious turnaround to beat out the 9th.

4th was the best. Wouldn't have had the 10th we (mostly) all love without the 4th's influence.
Actually 10 & 4 are tied for #1 in my house.
Do miss 9th though, but... think I like the 11th slightly more (despite series 5 kinda lacking... series 6 totally made up for it).
8th didn't get nearly enough screen time. Sure, the movie wasn't THE BEST in the world but I enjoyed it, and his character definitely had a lot of potential. Think he shines more in the books. Wouldn't mind maybe a series of movies, direct to dvd specials, or something to bridge the gap between The Movie & "Rose".

Hoping for some sort of multi-doctor story arc for this upcoming series.
50th anniversary and all that...

Doctor Who is the BEST scifi series ever created by the minds of men, and I will EXTERMINATE anyone who disagrees! LOL.

But yeah, been a Whoovian since the new series started back in 05. Religiously watched the show ever since.

My favorite Doctor is a tossup between Tennant & Smith. My favorite baddies are The Daleks (of course) The Silence, and the Weeping Angels.

Awesome show i love this show. I have watched 4 seasons of this show and i love this show. "Blink" is one of the best episode of this show. I love this episode.

We don't know the official dates, there is speculation that it will start August. But most say the Christmas special is going to start off the new season.

They also announced that Rory and Amelia is leaving and another companion will take their place
