Well, that was my first thought, but I doubt things would actually work out that way. The reason is that society is always telling women it's bad to act like a slut, women have to worry about getting pregnant and stuff, and women respond more emotionally to sex. So again I think this is thinking too much like a guy when you wouldn't be so likely to think like a guy if you weren't a guy.

If I were a male, I would be one of those quiet kind who never talks. I will be the smartest and silence type of guy in the class. I would like to have no friends and ... I wouldn't be thinking about sex every 6 seconds

We live in times where what you're saying is obsolete.. Even with further knowledge on risks through sexual activity, the number of females who have become sexually loose has increased by a large fraction.. Finding a female virgin in high school is like looking for a needle in a haystack.. There are only those few groups of females who still have the seal of approval on them..

Even when they worry about getting pregnant.. Stopping them is like getting into a fight with a lawn mower..

No, it isn't obsolete. People's minds have evolved in certain ways and short term social changes really haven't had enough time to impact evolution. In any case the social attitudes are not stable.

Yes, it's true social attitudes are changing, but really they've oscillated back and forth throughout history. It used to be that if any girl had sex before she was married, even once, then she was a total slut. Now it's like that's no big deal but there is still a point at which a girl starts to seem like a slut to people. There's also the short-term social trend of women not caring what anyone thinks of them, probably related to "womens lib" or whatever, so even if people think some girl is so loose that she's a total slut, many women are now less likely to care about that or anything else. And again, this has gone back-and-forth between "conservative" and "liberal" many times throughout history.

The fact is that womens' brains are still a certain way. Research has shown that women are happier when they are with the same guy and not sleeping with a different guy every day of the week. Sexual promiscuity has been linked with depression in women.

50% of marriages end in divorce so saying that women are happier with one man is a big lie as well.. Being loose also isn't as big of a deal as it was a long time ago as well.. Even though we're talking about just changing gender.. it's not as if we're changing the species.. We're still on the subject of humans at least..

That's a rather huge logical leap there, to try to claim that 50% of marriages ending in divorce proves that women are generally not happier staying with one man. This most likely has a hell of a lot more to do with people lacking in relationship skills than it does with there being some fundamental problem with monogamy. It basically sounds like you've bought into some extremist propaganda regarding marriage being fundamentally bad or something.

Okay.. If you're still displeased.. Take that 50%, and subtract the people who are continuing to stay in marriage through family decision, through abusive relationship, through seeing other people, through the consideration of children, through money grubbing... The percentage of people who are happy with their marriages are actually less than half now isn't it..?

It doesn't matter. Being unhappy with your marriage has more to do with having the self knowledge to choose the right person, and peoples' relationship skills, than it does with there being some fundamental problem with monogamy itself. Thinking that it must prove a problem with monogamy is wishful thinking on your part.

My guess is that you probably also still think Margret Mead is legit.
