been playing it for 11 years, i'm kinda getting bored because my teacher keeps telling me to focus on classical music instead of 'other' music (from animes >.< ) because its a "waste of time and it gets you nowhere". sigh~

i can only play one note at a time^^; we have a piano at home, so i kinda *poke* *poke* at it. no one uses it. i think if you actually get someone who knows how to play to teach, you should be okay... i can play happy birthday and twinkle twinkle little star.

Well. At first, when you're getting used to it, it's really hard but when you know the keys, its beautiful and very fun.

It's good when you're stressed because you manage to kind of memorize the keys so you just let your emotions out and stuff.

I thought it was pretty easy, and I started when I was 8-ish. I ended up quiting though, I got bored of playing classical music.

Piano isn't really as hard as people make it. It's actually pretty easy if you have good memorization (obviously to remember all of the chords on the keys and etc) and that's basically all you need. It's just the part about reading sheet music is hard. I suggest you just try to listen to things by ear and play them like that.

it depends.. for me,, it's not that hard for the first time because you'll only be playing one note of the time, but after some time, you'll play you'll learn to play with both hands and you'll be like, what's the relation of what i play with my left hand and with my right.. if you play them separately, you will think, will this go on if played together and when you play it together, the sound is awesome.. one good example is the entertainer.. if you play it for the first time,, you'll really get confused.. so good luck!!!

I used to study piano lessons when I was in my elementary. I remember I was in 4th grade that time but I quit. Coz I had no time memorizing the chords so I focused more on my academic studies.
I wanted to become a pianist until this time but I have to study it over again.
