I really liked ARIA..
Also I was the one of the few people who liked Minami-ke before it took off at the second or third episode.. Lots of people thought it was boring before than..
Lucky Star starts out rather boring as well, but I knew it would pick up..

Zettai Shonen was very slow at the beginning - I had to be patient.
Madlax was pretty slow when it started, too, but I really liked the ending! And Noir, as well.
