i would like to read mars because they said that it's great, but since i've already seen the drama version and im not quite satisfied, so im having a second thoughts, what do you think guys?

Personally, I still read the manga even if it's been turned into a drama/anime. There tends to be quite a lot of stuff (especially backstory) that gets cut out.

i read the manga of ouran even if i had already watched the anime...the manga is still ongoing though...
i also read the manga of death note.
lokita is right, there are a lot of scenes that are cut out in the manga. :D

I still read manga because the anime sometimes make fake things up, and because anime skips a lot of places.

personally i would agree with what the other people say... read the manga.... sometimes the anime doesnt follow the manga religiously... more things are added in anime, some things are not included in the anime.... so it would be the best to read the manga.... for example.... Flame of Recca has an open ended ending in anime but it has a good conclusion in the manga version.... the popular naruto has an almost never ending filler episodes that aren't included in the manga.... and Hajime no Ippo doesn't end when Ippo defeated Sendou ehehe
