Do you still read the manga?

I've learned over the years how badly manga based anime can end up so I learned to read the manga above all, then MAYBE appreciate the anime along with it.

They are almost always different in numerous ways and should be enjoyed independently. The only exception recently was Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood being completely faithful to the manga, but only after the original series took a completely different path because they started it too early in the manga.

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 7/12/10 I watched Hana Kimi Live-Action before reading the manga, but it was okay since the manga is pretty different and has a lot more story... ah and i watched the gravitation-anime before reading the manga because i love this just soooooo much<3 but actually i prefer reading the manga first...mostly i dont like the anime then...>.<
