an IQ of 300, a common sense level higher than anyone on earth, and to have read every book, ever written, in every language, instantly.

think about that...you would have the intelligence and knowledge of everything...you could convince someone to do anything. you could create just about anything. if you couldn't create it, you could find somebody who could. that much intelligence would undeniably rule the world. or fix it. or destroy it. whatever i felt like.

I'm Vietnamese! I visited Vietnam last summer. I love Vietnam! Minus the motocycle burn on my leg, the mosquitoes, and an eye infection I got during my stay Image

I am really good friends with a vietnamese girl. And to answer the question about what war it was. It was the Vietnamese War. At least that is what we call it in the US.

I've got Vietnamese friends. A lot of them think they're all thuggish though. I don't really get it.

I'm Vietnamese too and I don't get why they act that way either. They think they're quite cool acting "gangsta" and whatnot - at least around the Northeast region of the states.

Puzzles me, really, but then it gives me some entertainment when I see stuff like this:

And I've been to Vietnam countless times since I was a mere toddler. It still breaks my heart to go from Saigon's suburbs to the more rural areas [villages around the mountains] and see some people still suffering. Image

I am Vietnamese never been to Vietnam. It was a war between the North and South. The North side was the communist and South was anti-Communist. The USA came in to help the South side. My dad served the war with two bullet wounds.

I live just where Little Saigon is in California, so I see Vietnamese (and Korean) people where ever I go (Clubs, supermarkets, movies, cafe shops, everywhere.)

MOST of the reason why some Vietnamese try to act "gangsta" is because their peers. Also Some Vietnamese people are "gangsta" by nature. I Have a lot of Viet friends and MOST of them do not act "gangsta," only like less than five of them act "gangsta" reason eing is because the neighborhood they live in. Gang Hoods and that's their street life. Most of the "gangsta" Vietnamese people I see are gang affiliated. So, sorry to say this, just because you see some people act "gangsta," maybe it's not an act, it's just their mentality. Their surrounding. Who are we to judge, but to be thankful that we didn't have to be surrounded by that kind of mentaliy. I grew up in a ghetto asian neighborhood, but my dad being an marine veteran was strict on his 8 kids and taught us better, (and sure as hell made sure of it.) I taught myself better growing up.

So yeah.....Proud Vietnamese American Born Girl. Hence, My Viet Name My means American in english
