I'm Vietnamese but I haven't been back since I was 6, which was 11 years ago... Image . Though I am trying to go back within this next year! But I'm also part Chinese though in my family the culture is basically all Vietnamese.

I don't have many Viet friends though I do wish I had some more...

I was born in Vietnam, and came to the U.S. when I was 9. I hope i'll be going back to see my family this summer ><
I only have a few Viet friends. I don't party hard enough for one viet group, and I don't get enough As in school for another lol.
ahahaha I laughed so hard reading the comments on the video that LoreXXShortii posted the link to. seriously.. about only 5 people that commented made sense, and the rest were.. less than smart. Those less than smart ones provided great amusement for me ,though.

I am Vietnamese too. Lived in US for almost 2 years, still not used to the life here yet. I have some friend groups (highschool, university, social life...), all are very close to me. Miss them so much. I went back to see them last November, it made my heart ache when I left. Hope get some support from all of you to adapt kinda international life. I still keep some old habits to connect to my original source like watching asian movies... thank you for all uploading...and happy to make new friends here... btw, anyone can speak Vietnamese?

I speak Viet. Probably not to your par. Born and raised in Canada. But I'm glad my parents taught me how to speak Viet. Unlike some other people that don't know a word of Vietnamese.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing to know that some parents don't bother to teach their kids Vietnamese - but I really shouldn't be talking, since I can't even write a word of Vietnamese with the accents [but I can speak it fluently enough]...
