I thought the US was more tolerant than europe when it comes to nudity. i thought everywhere was more tolerant of nudity than England.

So far most people think that women should not walk around naked because it would be a rather big distraction to men. Lets try other reasons.Social conditioning maybe? Prior to the 15th century there was really not much differentation btw man & woman, in fact many pictures of christ at the time showed him with breasts flowing with milk, nothing sexual there. After the advent of Protestantism, biblical interpretations began to stress alot about the sin inherent in the human body and so begin the period of the modest dress code. Later the rebellion against Victorian values began and bla bla we reach at last to Sexual objectification, this idea was brought to light mainly by Simone de Beauvoir's work delineates women as sex objects and after the 20th century this concept seems to have become very very popular. Of course in the past alot of women were like bought and sold but that was the whole woman, now, eventhough women are free, hmmm sex is still being bought and sold. Ok before i start to ramble on too much...In short I think modern people have this fixation on sex...stop it its unhealthy, yes of course women should cover their breasts, it'll make the world a safer place
