snow_lily 60 cr points Send Message: 21 / F Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 9/26/09 i've never seen a fat person as a main character. i think it'd be nice to have something like that, even if it's just once in a while. after all, it's more realistic. i know anime doesn't always have to be real-world based and whatever, but for some people, it's nice to have something in anime that they can connect to the real world. i wouldn't mind if there was a fat person for a main character. not everyone is skinny or has such high metabolism that they could eat a tub of lard for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day and never get fat.

This gave me a plot idea: Fat & skinny girl exchange bodies due to some accident (whether of magical, scientific or other origin matters not), and end up "walking a mile in the other person's shoes". As is typical, the problem is resolved at the end of the series, with lessons learned. Not terribly original, but if done well it could be a good series.

There's a show called "Drop Dead Diva" that has a plot sort of like that. Skinny girl and big girl die, the skinny girl, being a bitch wants to go back and ends up in the other girl's body.
