seeing how gas prices are getting very high

already in the 3.95-4.10 zone for premium (few people i know are changing their driving habits for the better)

2 people i know for example)
both stock rx7FC turbo and thinking of going to trade it for somethingt that has more mpg and they currently get like 17 lulz they are trying hard to break into the 20s :P

i hit vtec like 5x on this fill up and still managing 31~ <-- MIXED FREEWAY AND CITY my record was at 33 on my gsr =\ probably could get higher if i stayed behind slow asses on the freeway and going around 55 the whole way

duplicate thread? dunno probably not

just took this idea off of a website i viewed before for highest mpg lulz

off topic: saw a girl driving a teg w/ a jdm front when going back to campus today!! oO!!

Hitting mid 20s in an LS Integra. :(
Doing a full injector flush, induction cleaning, and BG 44k next week. Hopefully it will improve.

^ both yours stock? jeeez xD

clean it, change your driving habits or go for a tune up imo i got too use to trying save gas so xD tho i do race the engine from time to time i make up for it in other ways =\ going behind slow ass ppl on the freeway as an excuse to go slow and save =_=;;;

altho the only real way to check your mpg is if your completely empty and fill up but once your car is totally empty then thats bad (forgot what happens but bad =\)

oh roffle imma make a "when do you fill up" thread just for the hell of it

Hope all you guys know that that fuel injector cleaning in a bottle and almost all of the other additives do nothing and are a waste of money. Those cleaners in a bottle are just solvents. And guess what gasoline is? A natural solvent also. Injectors get dirty from particles that are bypassed by the first and secondary filter elements. If you want to clean injectors get them ultrasonic'd. That is the only way to get them clean.

Miata - 28 city/30 highway
ES300 - 20 city/26 highway
Talon - Too varied and never really got a solid number(But I'll tell you what. My EMS tells me im at 1mpg when im on it....lol)

There's nothing wrong or bad about running you motor down till your out of fuel. Nothing gets damaged. Only thing that could go wrong is your fuel pump shorts out. But thats a very rare case. Unless your stupid and when your car dies out you try to crank it 5+ minutes at a time which would also kill your starter too. Besides that there is nothing. Just plain stupid human error. But most people will know that they are out of gas when it happens as they purposely drive it too the edge.

Where I live, BG products are actually pretty big.
I wouldn't go get fuel injector cleaner from Walmart or whatever...
But I've ran some BG, it's actually pretty reliable.
But you're right, ultrasonic cleaning is good stuff.
