Actually Koreans make quite a bit of anime that people have seen here - filler animation. I don't mean filler episodes, but filler animation within regular episodes. The japanese will often to just the key anime frames and sequences and pack it off to a korean anime sweatshop to finish all the in between.

For some reason, Korea just doesn't interest me in the least. I do like Kimchi though.

That's pretty much it. Like Teen Titans is animated in Korea! If you look at the names in the credits they're almost all Korean. Just like a lot of American shows.

I don't know of any Korean show made for Koreans, but their manga (called manwha) seem a little bit bolder. Other than the writing, or sound if you're listening, then there's probably not much way to tell.

"My Beautiful Girl Mari" is Korean. It was okay. The pacing made Miyazaki look like a tweaker.

Yep, the japanese anime is actually cool like the ones I saw; Gundam Seed, GSD, Death Note, Bleach.

Some Koreans ones are okay too, but I prefer the Japanese anime.

Korean anime i dont really know alot about but i have to say that a Korean manga is defintly alot more shall we say Vulgerer(<--Bad word ot describe it, but its fitting)
If you watch stuff like Island or Zombie Hunter or Ai-Ren and compare em to stuff like Battle Royale, Death Note etc.. you see that the Koreans are alot more up-front with their beliefs and the artwork is definetly more gorier and also stuff like Ai-Ren(a guy destined to die gets a cyborg "partner" for his last day on earth) freaked me out..

Anyway you dont really need to distinguish them since if something is really good then it doesent matter who made it, now does it?

Actually the Japanese version of "Anime" (Not the english definition of Japanese-Style animation), it's just a word that the japanese took from "Animation" and put their own definition of all forms of animation around the world.

Anime in japanese doesnt really specify about the origin or a specific style.

And Japanimation is just a specific word that is used to just specify japanese animation rather than the entire world.

Anyway back to topic..
Ive seen to korean anime movies, and personally i thought they were even better than japanese anime movies.. Sadly forgot their name though
