It's a kind of bacteria that can kill you so here are the procedures to not get infected.

-wash your hands with soap & water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
-Be sure to keep cuts and scrapes clean and bandaged.
- Avoid contact with other people's cuts, scrapes and bandages.
-Do not share personal items like bath towels.

Please be safe this is responsible for more deaths in the United States each year than AIDS, according to new data.

I hope this helps you & please pass on the word.

Ok hold on, it is HIGHLY unlikely that ANYONE reading this website is in danger of having complications from MRSA. MRSA is only dangerous if your immune system is compromised. In fact, if a healthy individual is infected by MRSA they probably will never know it.

I have family that work in hospitals that have to deal with MRSA. It's really only an issue in areas with a high population with damaged immune systes (hospitals, nursing homes, etc)

Old and outdated thread. Plus the procedures that you just mentioned are all common things that should be done everyday to avoid any kind of illness.
