How would you mod your car?

I hate driving around town and seeing stupid ricers on the street... A lot of people don't know shit about cars, and they add on a loud ass exhaust expecting for 500-hp to come out of it. Stupids... hahaha Pretty much, all I would do it... uhh... Maybe add on some rims, then lower it. And align it. And of course, I wouldn't do it myself, I'd have a professional do it. My bf is going to be an automotive technician (in college now) so he would do it. ahahah

sumit714 1756 cr points Send Message: 21 / M / Australia Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 11/20/07 lower it, exaust, pod filter, rims, body kit, maybe a pearlescent black and sum other stuff, carbon fibre hoods arent all that great there isnt much of a weight difference unless ya take out the back seats and convert sum otha crap. oh and neons that are in sync with the system, 2 subs, 2 tweeters and 4 speakers would do a nice job

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 11/20/07 For me it is all about the amount of horsepower the engine puts out, the RPM's it tops out at, and the amount of torque that it puts to the pavement...A nice HP-weight ratio is always nice as well... Pretty much if I was to work on a car it would go towards 1) the engine (super and/or turbos), 2) the transmission (would try for a 4-speed manual - would also have a clutch lever on the shifter instead of a clutch pedal so as to decrease shift times) , 3) throwing the widest freaking tires I could fit on it (anything in the 11-13" wide range is the idea), and 4) weight reduction (carbon fiber ftw)...

Wow..now why would you add a SC to it? It seems like you know nothing. I've already started on my CLK. This summer I'm adding HRE C21 rims, Barbus front spoiler, Kleemman SS headers, and Eisenmann quad exhaust with no cat.
