usually I mod my vehicle by the mood I am in. I started off doing the import stuff with my first car, then got more money and went into messing with the suspension more. After having an import, then a lowrider, I'm working on making a rat rod-ish vehicle... I guess.

Fat white walls
13"/14" steel rims
Billet lugs (open rim look)
Air bags (half done (front only right now), just have to buy the rest of the rear parts)
Two tone paint (currently flat black right now)
New speakers that just fit in stock locations
Boarding up the back to help mold in the amp racks and custom sub box
Chrome differential cover
Tubular A-Arms (both upper and lower)
Swapping out side mirrors for 60's style mirrors

My car: Evo IX/X

Bore up the engine.replace with forged pistons,crankshaft and con rods.
Direct Port NOS system.
twin-turbocharger with water-cooled bearing sections with air-to-air intercooler and a remote wastegate with an electronic boost control and emergency boost control.
For fuel injection, i'd use a staged injection system with a fully programmable aftermarket ecu.
Ignition system, an aftermarket spark plug and a distributorless ignition system.
For intake system, i would use a cold air or ram air intake system with a high flow cone air filter and a Karmen Vortex Airflow sensor. A multi-plate throttle body that is bored up would be used.
Exhaust systems, a performance muffler is gonna be used to create a free flow exhaust system.

i would also add a body kit with carbon hood and spoiler and 19"/20" Konig toxxin v.2 gloss black rims. tint the windows black and add a roll cage and also lower the ride height and change the suspension system.

other modifications i have to think about it but thats the most of it

Cheapest thing ever:
Buy a 240SX ($4000)
Get the red top SR20DET ($900+$1500 for install)
Buy a Tein full coil-over set ($2000)
Buy a simple aluminum wing ($50-100)
Get a cheap set of 4-lug rims and a set of decent tires (about $1000 total)
Buy the rest of the suspension things (Strut bars, sway bars, etc) (Another $1000)
Decent LSD will be about $500
Exhaust/Muffler ($700)
Intercooler/Cold-air intake ($1000)
Carbon fiber hood ($1000)

Basically, you spend about $15000 and you got yourself a completely built 240SX.

Dual tips isn't rice, IMO. Dual exhaust on a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder is rice. (dual 'tips' and dual mufflers are two different things)

But even on the SR20DET, unless you're harnessing over 400 WHP from it, I say you'd be fine with a single muffler.



One thing I can't stand to see is a N/A 4 banger with a 4-5 inch exhaust.. wtf? That shit sounds like a pissed off bumblebee in a tin can

First, +1 for the starter of this thread cuz i don't see a lot of girls into tuning. Most girls i see/know just likes fast cars and knows nothing about the actual mods.

Well, here's a list of mods i am planning/done/on to do to my car.
Suspension, FMIC, Brake System, Fuel System, CF Hood, Dual Exhaust, Roll Cage/Chassis Strengthening, Intake, ECU, Guages, Rims. I think that's about it, but before all that i need more money So all these gonna take a long time.

im looking for an s13 hatch right now. not gonna do much to it right after i get it but got enough $$$ for the car, intake, megan coilovers, probably change the bushings and run a straight pipe for now.
im probably gonna build up the motor and go KA-T in the future when i get some money because im tired of seeing SR's. theres too many of them, and not gonna have enough money for a RB swap. not much to ask for.

You're calling the the Evo X and STI rice from factory? lol.. Umm.. AMS exhaust is about 4" and their cars are not even close to rice.

lol thats not even a completely built 240...completely built is from inside out...motor/interior/exterior/drivetrain/suspension etc....you havent even mentioned any motor parts cept for the swap itself, you got yourself a drift car right now, and even at that you dont need a wing, decent used lsd (guessing from price) and damn 700 for exhaust? guessing your talking from downpipe back?
