no because you see all sorts of shit when you take trips. none of that is real. this one kid told me he thought that he was in the ocean, so he took off his shirt in the middle of the room and yelled "there's water! there's water!"

I Had To see It to Believe It

Well, yes, most of the time it's quite more persuading than believing in something that you can't even see, nor feel.
But of course, I am aware of the fact that the eye sight plays some wicked games with our mind from time to time. ;P

~Ok,then how about this. You said that seeing is not necessarily believing but you also said that believing is seeing. Then let's say that you believe in God but have you seen him already? You believe in God but you still don't see him. Then that means that believing is seeing is not correct on some aspects.

when you have believe in God you don't necessarily see Him with your eyes you can see with your heart and just spriritually know that He's there

I believe that there is gravity, fat joes in USA, transvestites in Thailand but I haven't seen them

You can see it under a microscope. It's just really really tiny particles, it's not invisible.

Anyway, you shouldn't believe what you can't see, and you shouldn't always believe what you can see either. Example: some humans suffer from delusional tendencies, and schizophrenia. Your mind can create a seamless world between your imagination, and reality. Or even, people can create illusions with using art, that appear to be real. So, something cannot be based on vision alone. But it's silly to think something is completely true, without "evidence" that it is there. What is there, needs to be researched and understood before you can really judge whether or not you believe it.
