This is a list of Japanese words to address people. Hope this post helps.

PS PS: The words highlighted in purple are the kanji version, while the words in bold are the hiragana/katakana version.

VOCABULARY: People


/ わたし (watashi)
- I

わたしたち (watashitachi)
- we

あなた (anata)
- you

あの人 / あのひと (anohito)
- that person, he, she

あの方 / あのかた (anokata)
- that person, he, she (polite equivalent of anohito)

皆さん / みなさん (minasan)
- ladies and gentlemen, all of you

~さん (~san)
- Mr., Ms. (title of respect added to a name)

~ちゃん (~chan)
- suffix often added to a child's name instead of ~さん (or a term of endearment to any person, as based on animé shows)

~くん (~kun)
- suffix often added to a boy's name

~じん (~jin)
- suffix meaning "a national of"; eg.: アメリカじん (Amerikajin) - an American

先生 / せんせい (sensei)
- teacher, instructor (not used when referring to one's own job)

教師 / きょうし (kyoushi)
- teacher, instructor (when referring to one's own job)

学生 / がくせい (gakusei)
- student

会社員 / かいしゃいん (kaishain)
- company employee

社員 / しゃいん (shain)
- employee of ~ Company (used with a company's name; eg.: IMC の しゃいん)

銀行員 / ぎんこういん (ginkouin)
- bank employee

医者 / いしゃ (isha)
- medical doctor

研究者 / けんきゅうしゃ (kenkyuusha)
- researcher, scholar

エンジニア (enjinia)
- engineer


だれ (dare)
- who (impolite version)

どなた (donata)
- who (polite version)


/ ひと (hito)
- person, people

友達 / ともだち (tomodachi)
- friend

/ かれ (kare)
- he, boyfriend, lover

彼女 / かのじょ (kanojo)
- she, girlfriend, lover


ご主人 / ごしゅじん (goshujin)
- (someone else's) husband

/ おっと (otto)
- (my) husband

主人 / しゅじん (shujin)
- (my) husband (literally "master, head of household")

奥さん / おくさん (okusan)
- (someone else's) wife

/ つま (tsuma)
- (my) wife

家内 / かない (kanai)
- (my) wife

子ども / こども (kodomo)
- child

男の人 / おとこのひと (otokonohito)
- man

女の人 / おんなのひと (onnanohito)
- woman

男の子 / おとこのこ (otokonoko)
- boy

女の子 / おんなのこ (onnanoko)
- girl

i would go with dare (informal) and donata (formal)
as dare is used quite often. Keroro if you're taking with family&friends, dare is fine.
