Just recently saw Rush in montreal, by far the highlight of my life.

Also saw Motorhead, and Slayer, and Cryptospy.

NIN (2000). It was actually 4/20 as well. Absolutely Incredible.

Pantera (headling Ozzfest 2000). They did one helluva live show. Glad I was able to catch them not only before they broke up, but before a reunion became impossible.

Slayer (2003). Slayer is great live. Long sets, high energy, crazy crowd. I even got my ticket signed by Tom Araya after the show.

Bob Dylan (2001) - It was great seeing genuine rock history live.

Soulfly (2000) - I don't care too much for Soulfly anymore, but god damn they're awesome live. Crazy fucking pit. At one point they brought out every drummer at ozzfest for jam session of sorts.

Only underground(ish) metal band I've seen live is Arch Enemy. I liked it, though it didn't blow me away.

Dissapointments - Type O Negative and Ozzy.

I don't go to concerts anymore... not too many bands touring the US I really want to see anymore.

My first concert was my favorite concert. Last February Dir en Grey did a concert in Toronto with Fair to Maitland (?) and some other band.

It was so awesome! One of the best days of my life and Toronto was the only Canadian city they played in, I actually met up with someone who had come all the way from Saskatchewan to see them.

My first concert was Nirvana Unplugged. I was 8, and my cousin who was babysitting me that night was a fan. She sneaked herself and I into the show through some security connects she had. I don't remember much. I DO clearly remember this annoying plastic plant that kept getting in my face. The significance of what I got to be a part of didn't hit me until 4 years later.

Another memorable concert was Tool and Tomahawk in NJ. I got to go backstage to a VIP kickback, because my uncle is friends with Danny Carey, and meet Maynard and Mike Patton in 2002.

Another very memorable concert was Opeth's chronology show in LA at the Wiltern theater. They played songs from all their albums in chronological order, 7 of which have never been played on American soil. Fantastic.

Tool and Melt Banana. Need I say more?

I've been to a lot of shows, but these are the ones that really stick out to me.

Holy shit, you bastard. Whether one likes Nirvana or not, that's one of the most famous live albums/concerts of all time.

I know.

the unplugged album is the one I throw on when I'm going to sleep. It may not have been good grunge but it was catchy as fuck, and whenever I'm sick of being a tech/prog metal geek, I turn to lighter, simpler stuff that I don't need to actively listen to. I can just passively throw it on and relax.
