rugby is actually safer than american football because in rugby you can't wear pads so people tackle with less power

actually, because in rugby you dont wear pads, theres more of a chance that u can get hurt and alot of people actually do. so it actually, in my opinion at least, is NOT safer than american football.

I've been playing it since i was 12, im probably the shortest forward ( play Number 8 and flanker) for -16. Most times with the injuries it just sheer bad luck or you're fault. AF looks rough aswell but none of these sports compare to gaelic football or aussie rules.

to be honest playin 8 is alryt but from personal experiance flankers dont do shit they jus jump out of the way an it doesnt even take a tackel to get them down, they do jack shit when in a scrum as well.
prop is where all the action is

Flanker is one my favorite positions, Im quite Hench and fast, but because im quite small its still pretty hard to play for 16+ rugby since everyone is 6ft or taller. Since my last post i've been placed as a flanker, and trust me if you play at the level of the middlesex league tournament, you will see awesome flankers, average speed but tall and retardedly strong, they have long passes and usually start a g few attacking plays. And if they are good like me (joke) they will stop scrum half from feeding the ball to other players during a scrum. Try passing the ball with a some one running at you 40 yards in 4.8 seconds, swinging their arms mentally.
