The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past

math and science
can comprehend
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies

uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
risk taking

When I took the test, at first it was moving in one direction while I was reading. But with practice I can do in in a sec just by thinking left or right. Cool!

Plato's Cursed Triangle (The Impossible Triangle)

The Impossible Triangle is an optical illusion.

This explanation is written in plain English since the geometric equations behind this illusion are too complex to be understood by anyone but math majors.

Simply put: The triangle at the bottom is not really a triangle at all, it just looks like one. It's a fake triangle.

The dark green and the red triangle in the big fake triangle seem to form a straight diagonal line from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, like they do in the real triangle on top. But in reality it's not a straight line in the fake triangle.

Compare the real triangle on top with the fake triangle at the bottom. Take a close look at their upper diagonal sides and you will see that the way they cross the white grid in the background is slightly different.

There is an invisible dent where the dark green and the red triangle meet in the fake triangle. As strange as it may seem, the slight dent is enough to throw off the straight line, and enough to amount to the volume of the missing square.

Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds.
Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window
with sunlight coming through it). You should see a white circle with an image inside it.

Man or Woman?

It's two illusions in one!
First of all, it appears that the lines are not straight, which in fact they are perfectly straight. Look at the blue gaps between the arrows and it looks like they are slanting either up or down, depending on which one you look at.

Next, because of the color choices and how this is laid out, if you move your eyes up and down across the image, the arrows will appear to shift slightly. This also works if you just stare at the picture for awhile. The tricky thing is that the arrows move in the opposite direction of how they are pointing.

moving spiral illusion

As you look at the spirals, they will appear to move. This is called "illusory movement" and the same technique has been explored by other optical illusion creators.

Incredible Moving Arrows

These are sometimes called anamolus motion illusions. Because although the image isn't moving at all - it really isn't animated at all - it looks like it's moving like crazy. Sometimes the bigger the picture is, the better it works.

perfect squares

Move your head close to the screen. Do the perfect blue squares appear to be distorted? Absolutely... this is due to the black lines in the back moving and twisting it in your mind. What an eye trick!

Young woman or old woman

Here is another artists drawing of the young woman/old woman optical illusion. This one has a little more detail, but it's something you could try to imitate yourself if you just remember the basics: The old woman's eye is the young woman's ear. The old woman's wart is the young woman's nose, and the old womans nose is the young woman's chin. Easy enough right? This optical illusion goes down in the history books for being one of the most recognized optical illusions, and should be included in any reports about the history of optical illusions!

Crazy Window

Which way does this window face. Are the people on the inside looking to the left or looking to the right? Are you looking up into the window, or are you looking down into the window. Quite a crazy amazing optical illusion drawing!

I remeber. The one on top of the Man or woman.. Before I saw that, Try to stare at the four dots for 30 seconds(try not to blink!) and close your eyes and make your head lie down and the rest of your body upright. WHen i checked it before, I saw the picture Of Jesus. Im not sure. But I remember the instructions (and how the main things of the image worked...) four dots and an abstract like black and white image

that dancer one was trippy, cause it changed directions on me. Most of these revolve on how your brain function and the perspective in which you observer it.
