Tried searchin for a topic like this but couldn't find one... If there is then just lock it.

Was wondering if you guys cheat in games? I never cheat in games especially in a genre that I love and that's RPG's. No matter how hard it gets in never cheat in that genre. I also never cheat in my first try of any game.

I only cheat in games if the gameplay is really boring... Like, very bland gameplay. I only do it if I just want to explore the story. There are some games that are like that. I heard that Rule of Rose had a really worthless battle system but an incredible and sad story and plot. I also cheat if i'm on my second replay of the game. Sorta like squeezing all the fun that I can out of that game.

But what i do hate is when people start cheating the moment that it gets hard. I remember playing Gran Turismo games and despite the many times that I wanted to pull my hair out, out of frustration from not getting gold in a license test, I always came back for more and tried my best. I think thats the best thing about games. It teaches you to never gives up even though things get tough...

I just pity the people who cheat for that reason...

what about games like GTA? everybody has to have cheated once or twice...but i feel you though

I only cheat when I finish the game,if you cheat before finishing it that's like taking out 50% of the fun out of the game

I never cheat if its my first time playing becasue that ruins the challenge from the game but on my second time...if there are cheats i wanna use them all and laugh at the people that die in front of me!

I Cheat at games whenever I want to have fun.
Like, in GTA, I'll save my game and do some weapons cheat. Kill some Civillians and have my Wanted to rise up to level 5 and yay, I'll die.
Then, load my original, and do it again if I still want to.

Same after finishing the game. Meh, But when it comes to RPGs and such, I'll get a walktrhough this time and complete the game with a 100% game rate ^^


But if it's a REALLY hard game, then Bye-Bye Pride ^^

Cheating in GTA is fun though, you can do all these crazy shit and its fun as hell. But if it was a different game, I probably wouldn't cheat.

But yes, cheating was meant to make the user feel what's it's liek to rule with awesome weapons xD

True, true, but you just can't own the city with a tank. I prefer running around with mad ass guns!

occasionally, i do. when i really need it. i just do all the cheating on my 2nd time of playing from level one. i search for all the walkthroughs & cheats & hints & stuff because i just wanted to see the what the result is if i don't miss anything & all goes perfectly.

I never cheat online- bad, lame gameplay. Spoils the competitiveness for everyone else.

1st playthrough : no cheats, no guides, no spoilers, no tips from others
2nd playthrough: uses strategy guides for the ones I missed, open for tips, I now spoil plots to others
3rd playthrough: hello there mr. actionreplay how long is it since we last met?

the only 2 games that I actualy cheat in are 1) GTA (because it gets 20x more fun with cheats) and 2) age of wonders: shadow magic (because it is in my opinion the HARDEST STRATEGY IN HISTORY!!!!!! it's so hard that it's still hard to beat even with cheats)

it dpends if for example i lose the interest in the game after long hours of playing.. so to spice it up a little for fun i use cheats, but i nvr used chets to finish the game , wers the fun in that?
