honestly, i think its popular coz elitism.
people think that wearing havainas increases social status or something like that...
*i dont mean to offend any one.
even though its just a pair of slippers like other cheaper brands w/c have the same functions.
...although flip flops, in general, are nice to wear when its not raining.
coz when it does rain, i kinda slip a lot.

I love havaianas!!! They are very comfy and sturdy as quietfire21 said. I have 2 pairs ~ one that i have had for like 2+ years i think? and STILL not very worn out ( even though i wear them like everyday ) plus they have sooo many cool colours and designs xD

I don't actually "love" it but I DO have them.
My cousins loves buying them for me so then I started buying them myself back then when I was in the Philippines like every vacations we have here in CA.
I don't mind having them, really.
To be honest, my stupid feet are somewhat "allergic" to them.
You can call it THAT because whenever I wear them for like less than 5 minutes while walking, my feet gets soooo red and itchy!

I'm now wearing my for... 3 years? That's 'cause it's kind of the same to me how they look, 'cuz you just see those two strings 'n I only wear them to the beach or as houseshoes... not really as fashion. gomen nasai to all flip flop lovers! m_ _m but they're more something useful to me... Hm... So I don't LOVE them but they're a really nice invitation XD |

I really love flip flops!!
They are so comfy!!
I really like sneakers, sandals, and a lot of other types of shoes!
But I think on a burning hot summer day, flip flops are the best!!!!
When it's rainy......
I'll put flip flops as my last choice^^
But I love flip flops!!

I've actually never heard of them. Here in hawaii they sell slippers even in grocery stores xD
