waiiiit you have a clutch in your automatic?

I'm saying I'm retarded in a way that I can't drive an automatic correctly.

To support your statement, you're saying that you try to press on the "clutch pedal", when in fact, automatics don't have clutch pedals. Without a clutch pedal, control of the car is reduced and manual transmission drivers feel like communism is controlling their driving in an automatic.....

Something like that. I just doesn't feel right when I drive an automatic. Seriously, what does your left foot do? Brake?

It wants to feel a clutch pedal. Left foot braking feels weird.....

Maybe I should cut my left leg off when I stop driving manuals =p

Well, you could put a nonfunctional clutch pedal to prevent yourself from cutting off your left leg

Maybe there is a thing call the dead pedal? Ever heard of that guys?... Autos have 3 pedals. Maunals have 4....

Well the just of it is. Overdrive is left on ususally at all times. The only time overdrive is shut off is when the car is at a point where it needs more torque such as in climbing a steep hill were you require the car to downshift.

I brake with my left in an automatic - if it's good enough for Michael Schumacher it's good enough for me.

I'm gonna make, patent, and sell fake clutch pedals for automatic cars. There, that fixes everything.

i sometimes wish that there are four instead of 3 pedals... kinda like having clutch / front brake / rear brake / gas pedal.
That would make for some interesting drive....
I'll probably drive like how "jimmy from southpark speaks....

I wanted to know about this too but I didn't know I'd find one here haha.

So overdrive is good for high speed roads but should leave it off around towns?

You should leave it around all the time and turn it off only when you need the some extra power or torque such as climbing a steep hill.
