I took Continental Airlines for my past 4 trips in these 2 year to visit my parents and they were probably the best.... smooth ride...movies...food(dont even care)
Oh and JAL probably would be best

Some other Airlines i took actually used rookie pilots and the plane shook like hell making the kid in front of me throw up (poor kid lol)

I'm planning on moving to Japan next winter. Ideally I'd attend Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku for composition. I'd like to meet others who already live there and are involved in the "arts".
A road bike trip would be great.
Any advice/comments/introductions welcome.

too right...you don't wanna have food that smells strongly weird either. There was an airline i used for a return ticket. I used a masker on my flight back.....

American Airlines. There's a lot of space and better food than other airlines, but costs a bit more although you could get lucky if you fly from a smaller airport. Usually the airlines part of the Oneworld alliance are really comfortable to fly on (affiliates include JAL and Quantas). Next best would be United and its Star Alliance airliners. Good pricing and decently comfortable. Avoid Delta and it is alliance SkyTeam, their prices are similar to United's but the service isn't as good. I've flown on Air France and it was awful (their planes stink!).
