Oh shit i remeber that Big L line

you really cant compare wanye to eastcoast emcee's from the 90's becuz the difference in skill is ________________________________________ this wide.
But to defend him majority of people dont want to hear lyrical skill, & mastory of verbage, i personally like a balance of the two, i think LUPE & EMINEM are the best two people wit lyrical skill that will sell albums, (im sure ive forgotten a name though)
I will never compare weezy to those rappers, but amongst the rappers hes out with now you have to admit he skill looks like its genius

Out of the entire G-Unit....Banks is the best of the entire crew PERIOD. As far as The Game murderin G-Unit with 300 Bars............prpz to him on his part, that was the craziest shit I've ever heard in my life. Lyrically, Banks can prolly hold his own against The Game. Plus, The Game has basically fallen off since 300 Bars and Running...........his last album was decent but not great as The Documentary

100% correct
Everybody now has a gimmick, and everyone on the top ten listwants to put out an album every 2 to 3 years, and they think they're too good for mixtapes.
On the other hand Weezy puts out mixtapes like people put out the garbage
Science of the hustle people
Flood the market with a high quantity of your product, while it doesn't replace quality, the sheer number of songs means you have no choice but to listen.
Especially when you can't walk down the block without someone bumping it.

Eh, another thing I respect Weezy for despite his whack quality of rhymes. Weezy uses the mixtape game to his advantage, the same way Papoose, Saigon, and all the other BETTER quality emcees use the mixtape game to their advantage. He gets kudos for that............but still doesn't make up for his mediocre rhymes

Lupe's "Dumb It Down" is a really good joint............but I felt Lupe could have done better for a 1st single. Lupe's still my dude, but despite the good quality of this song, he could have done better.

And I definitely respect that Hustle..........I'm from NYC, the muthafuckin East Coast, where hustlas are bred. Just like the Wu-Tang Clan said
"Cash, Rules, Everything, Around, Me
C.R.E.A.M.
Get the money
Dollar, dollar bill y'all"

That's just because he was new
If you go back and listen to him it's the exact same thing, we just didn't realize it
