How did you get into JRock? Did someone introduce you to it? When did you get into it?
Post your story here For me, it all started back in '04 when my sister was bored one day and decided to search for Anime theme songs. She stumbled on to this Karaoke site where they had random Jpop songs and JRock songs and so we'd listen to the songs everyday. I took an interest in it and decided to keep listening. Then my sis found out about X Japan and other bands (we didn't really remember their names ). The interest faded a little and then we heard L'Arc~en~Ciel's "Ready, Steady, Go!". My sister loved it and decided to search for more bands, then I got sucked into it and now here we are XD.So, what's your story?? ~Jade808~ |

Hmmm i guess i just expanded into j-rock? hahah i was listening to j-indie, stuff like asian-kung fu and orange range before. I then moved onto stuff from UVERworld and now i even listen to some j-metal and leaning more onto j-rock than j-pop.
I think there was a phase when i liked j-hip hop but thats a whole different story ;P |

it started when i was around 7 after watching a gundam wing episode, the opening song was by two-mix a j-pop band i think and i loved it. Then i started moving on to the rock thing for a short while, then listening to korean stuff until like last summer when i started listening to VKstuff.
did all that even make sense to anyone? |

I was eight then I'm watching Rurouni Kenshin, then after that a new ending song appeared, it's The Fourth Avenue Cafe by L'Arc~en~Ciel then I was like... amazing who the fck is L'Arc~en~Ciel? then I love 'em, the J-rock journey continues, then december 2007, I saw Syu from Animetal (currently Galneryus) on YouTube, and he's like ramming his own guitar, that's when I started playing guitar.

Watching their videos & hearing their songs never gets tiresome! They were really great! Do you know what the lead singer does now? |

I know for a while Makoto had a solo career, though I'm not sure if he's still releasing albums or not. :/ Yuki's currently working with Acid Black Cherry, which I think it pretty interesting. |
