Why do girls hardly try to start relationships with guys they like. Is it cause there actually shy about that or do they expect the guy to do it?

hmmm it can be both :3 some girls prefer the guys to start it i guess....or some other girls are really shy...i guess....

It depends on the girl mate. In most cases I see the guy courting the girl usually but some girls approach the guy first.

I would hate to have to deal with rejecting girls anyways, they aren't like guys(well most anyways). I could see them getting all emotional in front of you, then it turns into a scene. Ughh, man up and take the lesser of two evils.

It's simple: fear of rejection.

I think girls feel that if they approach a guy, the guy would think she's easy or try to take advantage of her.

It`s the old ancient tradition - guys usually confess first .
Some of us still carry it .

Depends on the girl.

For me, I'm just really shy, and I'm afraid of what'll happen if they don't like me back... I've never approached a guy, I wait for them to come to me. I know thats not the best way, but, its worked so far. It's not that I'm trying to foist all the work on them or something, I just don't deal well with rejection, plus I really don't know how to approach guys...

in my opinion, ladies prefer guys who take the lead, even in the case of them being fond of him. if the guy doesn't do so, its probably not worth investing their time and effort maintaining the relationship in the long run
