you guys keep saying indonesia plagerize dramas, please, not DRAMAS! but the mangas they were based on. Hanakimi was based on the manga hanazakari no kimitachie, it has 2 versions taiwanese and japanese, japanese version (it was done later than taiwanese) did not plagerize the taiwanese version, they paid the author of the manga to represent the manga as a drama, their 2 completely different versions. Same with meteor garden and hana yori dango... their not plagerizing but creating another version. God, you guys are mad just because u feel offended by the shitty indonesian version of 1 litre of tears. Assume it, one litre of tears is better, cast, acting, story EVERYTHING! but it does not mean the indonesian version PLAGERIZED it, its based on the diary of kito aya, not on the drama!

Starmuffin,

ARE YOU AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!?

If the indonesian version "buku harian nayla" DID NOT plagiarized cuz they based the storyline to the actual diary of Kitou Aya and not to the jdorama "One Litre of Tears", isn't it still PLAGIARIZM!?

Why I say so?

Well <_<; ---- In the FIRST PLACE, RCTI (the one who aired buku harian nayla) did not credit or acknowledge not only Fuji TV and the jdorama One Litre Of Tears
BUT ALSO the diary of Kitou Aya!

They EVEN noted that "This story is fictitious: the similarities of names, characters, places, and times are purely coincidental."
HOW can it be PURELY COINCIDENTAL when there is an ACTUAL REAL STORY behind this
- and that is the LIFE STORY of the REAL KITOU AYA!
It's like they didn't even PAY RESPECT to the memory of a person who already passed away - and THAT for me is JUST PLAIN RUDE!

ANOTHER THING.
If they DID NOT copy the jdorama itself then how come they have SIMILAR SCENES and EVEN SAME CHARACTERS like Moses is to Asou Haruto? If they really DID ONLY based their storyline to the diary, then THERE SHOULDN'T be any MOSES.

Because in the diary of Kitou Aya, THERE WASN'T anyone like Asou. Asou is only a FICTIONAL character that was ADDED to the jdorama's storyline because it was a special request of Kitou Aya's mother since one of her deepest regrets was that her daughter was unable to experience a relationship(love life) in her short life.

So you STILL think they, RCTI and the BHN staff especially the screenwriter Serena Luna(Chevyra Edenia) HAVE NOT DONE any wrongdoing!?

man, i LOVE your reply!! totally agree man.
starmuffin, if u wanna argue/post something to defend a subject, then please base it on a valid stand, or you're just embarrassing yourself. cuz others have to kindly "remind" u again of the truth, which is that Indonesia did indeed copy 1LOT.

Haha, yeah I agree.
Should give credit where it was due...
Plus, Buku Harian Nayla or whatever, was terribly done... I skimmed through the first part of the first episode... Wow...like I said... it was horribly done... Like the part where Aya runs into the bicycles, meets Asou, and it starts raining; in this series, it SHOWS like a view of pixelated thunder clouds forming and it looks like all of a sudden someone dumped water on them... like ocean water, not rain.

Anyways, watching this after watching 1LOT, it's like insulting Aya...
They need to switch up their attitudes and at least, if they (Indonesia media industry) can't come up with their own storylines, give credit where it's supposed to be given...

Hehehe. Thankz for the compliment...
I was really upset with starmuffin's post before... It's like my fingers just started typing on their own as those words gushed out my mind...

Before I joined this group, I really researched about the issue so to make sure who did wrong: the Japan TV or Indonesia TV? Did they really plagiarize or not?

And so I found out that it is really true... There wouldn't be smoke if there's no fire, right? So this issue wouldn't start and get intense if it's all mumbo-jumbo lies...

Even until now, I don't think this issue has been given action yet, about the plagiarization of 1 Litre of Tears (Icchi Rittoru no Namida). BUT I just hope that at least, Indonesia TV would not plagiarize again.

First I want to say that my country (INDONESIA) does not suck, just the production media, acting, actors, singers (they frickin lipsynched and famous cuz of their looks)
I watched BHN, before 1LOT, because i was visiting indo when BHN was aired (REMEMBER, me watching BHN is before i found jdrama and Kdrama...thank goodness i found them) I actually thought that the story was cute....but what i remember the most is me trying to cry...and the tears came (LOL, i forced myself to cry) 2 years later (soo, now we're in 2008) i watched 1LOT, and im telling you, there's no need to force myself into tears, it just come naturally.....until the point that my eyes were sore for a few days......Erika Sawajiri was awesome and Ryo Nishikado was simply cute....Both of them, are such good actors. Chelsea Olivia and Glenn Alienski (Bet that's not there real name...if it is, then I'll be kinda shock, too many indos changed their name to western name, cuz they think its SOOOO cool) equal puke....in 2006, i cannot distinguish good acting, so-so acting and simply BAD acting (but jdrama made me realize what good acting is) When compared to 1LOT, BHN is just puke. What was i thinking, i actually liked BHN!! but then i found 1LOT, found the story similar, guessed that Indo plagarized and found this forum, then I decided to watch 1LOT (which is simply inspirational, i almost found the meaning of life and how important it is because of 1LOT) I cried more than 1LOT and also made my sweater wet(no nearby tissues) I LOVE INDONESIA, but not the entertaiment business..there might be some gems in indo (meaning good actor and good singer) but its soo rare that I will stick to Jdrama and Kdrama...much more gems and SOOOO much better acting, and no puking guaranteed!!!

PS: its INDONESIA, not indonisia.....if u want to bash the country media business, at least get the name right!! and also provide some truth (which this forum did, so just get my country name right !!!)

i like the way u put ur wordings. usually someone would be pissed off about this (and especially if they're from that country), but u actually took the time to watch both dramas and didn't just bash. i'm glad that u spoke the truth too. hearing from what u said, i don't know if i wanna watch PARTS of BHN, just to see how similar it is to 1LOT. i probably will but not the whole thing, considering that i've already seen another version. but seriously, u had to force yourself to cry watching BHN? wow...........

I kinda saw a part of BHN, but i know what it was about (cuz they kept airing commercial....i was actually interested cuz of the storyline, but I remember my older sister not liking it and it took me a few days until i could watch it (guess my sis watched 1LOT) I watched a few scenes, but it's enough to provide me, uh, evidence that 1LOT is sooooo much better than BHN

PS: yes, i forced myself to cry, because i felt like I SHOULD cry, but i didn't. I forced myself to cry cuz i felt bad for Nayla (AKA Aya) but it wouldn't come out that easily, you know, the tears.......

guys check this out.
this is kau masih kesahiku which is basically love at the dolphin bay.

i lol'd at the boat and the end parts where the dolphins jumped around.
& this pisses me off because dolphin bay is one of my favourite dramas.

they found a guy who looks like Zerya, but sadly the girl is nothing compared to Angela.
no one will ever be able to recapture angela's spirit and sweetness in dolphin bay : (

98 dramas? What a shame. Especially to what happened in Buku Harian Nayla. They copied a true story about a Japanese girl named Aya Kito who suffered and died from spinocerebellar ataxia, a rare but deadly disease ( For those who do not know about it.) (Please correct me if I am wrong.)
