Do you ever feel ashamed or embarrassed of liking anime?

I told my friend to watch some anime, and then he called me a douche. Then I called him a douche for being stuck in the nineties and refusing to listen to anything except "Guns n' Roses" and the ilk. Then we moved on. So no. Also, my aunt is the one who got me into anime so family isn't a problem. I've got a cool family and friends. Thank you for helping me appreciate that.
