Uhh yet another show to promote conformism to America and the world. Its not like its an amazing feat to become the American idol. Because they usually get swept under the carpet after the show. The only real successors are Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Hicks. The rest basically are gone like the wind. Jordan wining seemed a little anticipated. !!Almost!! coincidences that a women wins then a man and the cycle is broken with Carrie Underwood. Hmmmm...interesting.

Taylor Hicks...a sucess? Um, not really. Kelly Clarkson is by far the biggest star to come out of that competition. Carrie Underwood, though is well on her way to becoming a superstar...but only in her genre. Chris Doughtry (who should have won last year) has the potential to be super famous. Oh, and of course Jennifer Hudson. Other than that...every one else has just been a flash in the pan. Jordan can sing but I don't really think that she has the staying power to become the next Kelly Clarkson.

I love the audition parts too. that's the only thing I watch this year for American Idol. I think Jordan won because she puts a lot of emotion into her songs, but yeah nobody can beat Kelly Clarkson's 8 million cds sold. Carrie came in 2nd with 5 million.

The audition portion of the show cracks me up but after that I don't bother paying attention to it...the singing after singing just starts getting boring to me.

I was teasing my mom that she doesn't have any more shows to watch. American Idol just finished yesterday and Dancing with the stars had finished this Tuesday.
But she wasn't sad at all. She's now watching "So you think you can dance?" right now.
