So... Does anyone play it? Or am I the only one on CR that plays it and is good at it?

If you do play it, what level can you pass? (For example: 9-step expert, 6-step medium, etc.)

Personally, I'm a 12-Step Expert player.

^ you posted here just to say that?

I never heard of this game. is this an arcade gaem or console version?

To put it simply, it's a North Americanized version of Dance Dance Revolution. You can find ITG2 machines all over the place at arcades.

If you thought DDR was hard enough, ITG dominates it overall.

But Konami are idiots for suing Roxor. Now ITG3 will NEVER be released. Also, ITG is no longer available for purchase thanks to Konami so you'll only find ITG machines at arcades that bought a machine before the lawsuit. Same with ITG1 which used to be out for PS2 for retail sale as well.

i like it but i'm not sure what level i'm on. it seems the same as ddr to me >.> but with less songs that i like. i like ddr way more than itg. i can do step 8 but thats it, i havent played in like 4 months, so i'm pretty slow and unhealthy right now XD

DDR is slightly slower paced than ITG and it has fewer options and mods to choose from. ITG however has a wide assortment of mods plus there're additional things during gameplay such as hands, rolls, mines, etc.

I play ITG every school day during my lunch period so I got pretty good stamina but average FA. So far... I've passed four 12-step expert songs?

Rofl, I went to a Arcade recently and it had "In the Groove 2"...man...do I suck at that game.

I've never (ever) played DDR, or any of those kind of games in my life before, so I figured I'd atleast try it out once. I failed on Medium, and almost on Easy, rofl.

Well, since you live in the Toronto Area, there are several arcades there that have ITG2. I live in Brampton so there's only one machine that's here and luckily it's at the arcade I go to, lol. Mississauga has a few too.

Out of all ITG2 Machine locations, surprisingly the most locations are in Ontario, lol.

So... I'm now ranked 5th when it comes to Overall % at the arcade I go to. And I'm still 6th best at my school. My 12-Step Expert Scores are outdated so they suck.

ITG is more popular in Canada now adays compared to the US. I'm not that surprised that it died out over there.

They still hold tourneys but most of the best players in the world either sold their ITG Dedicabs or quit playing.

aww itg too bad piu won me over
harder baby

I've tried PIU once and I found it ridiculously hard. Not used to the arrow layout on the dancepad as well as the bar.

DDR's dance pads are alright though they aren't built to last long. And the metal bolts stick out like hell and sometimes get caught against your shoes.. ITG pads are sexy overall.

lmao, I've basically 90ed most of the 9s and 10s on ITG2. Starting to 90 some 11-steps too (Haven't played any 11 steps for 1-2 months now). I definitely need to raise my outdated scores and last but not least my 12-step scores.

Ugh... My 12-step scores are horrid. Probably because I haven't quite learned Half-turn crossovers yet... Strangely enough, I can FA Candles just fine which is basically the opposite direction of Half-turns.

i think ITG has much better songs than DDR in general, cause DDR has some really good songs and then the rest are just really weird. i can do most meduim songs in ITG but i havent played in a while so im not sure but those songs on expert that have like more than ten steps are impossible unless you live for ITG or somthign and you just practise everyday of your life
