You guys all forgetting the classic Civilization. Of course it wasn't REAL time but it gave you a WHOLE different dimension to think about.

For REAL TIME games all time favorite is Starcraft with absolutely no contest.

I myself enjoy Civ more since it's a lot less imbalance prone than warcrat 3.

StarCraft ftw.

Na, some people think horrible games like WarCraft 3 are good.

I try to understand and respect their opinions. However, I have my limits. I still can't understand them.

What is bad about WC3? This has always been mind boggling me. Some of my friends also can't stand it. I'm curious.

Compared with StarCraft, WC3 lacks the strategy. It's more about micro. StarCraft players generally hate this. StarCraft is generally divided in micro/macro so there's more room for strategic manuvers. WC3 however has all its strategy in micro.

Micro = micromanagement such as controlling units.
Macro = macromanagement such as making workers and sending them to harvest resources/make structures etc.

You actually have micro- and macromanagment mixed up.

For the sake of time, I just got this one:

It does a reasonable job summarizing why xbox sucks.

Yes, because a list of what sucks about a console after it was only out for a year is based in reality. Especially now, after it's been out for five or six years.

I want to make one thing clear, I really don't give two fucks about the X-box. What I do care about is when people insult anything without any actual basis or provocation. Especially when said imbecile can't make any of his own arguments.\

ok starcraft is #1, but all i really do is go online and play historical war maps that people make, my favorite ones are the ones centered around the 1800s like Blood and Iron and Republique, i also like some of the civil war games,etc...

no, thats right...
micro=controlling units
macro=controlling econ, aka using workers so you're not floating xxxx resources

anyways, back to the topic, yes starcraft is awesome.
although, Dawn of War:Dark Crusade is good too. they just need to patch the game to fix some glaring imbalances.
