Lets say that tiberium wars has a great graphics and is was good gameplay but not the best. Yeah Company of Heroes is cool specially if you're into World War II. But the best Strategy Game for me is StarCraft!!

The game its self has fairly decent maps and Ai to keep you on your toes and keep you busy for hours and thats before you jump into the modding and Map Making community.

Not many people have heard of it, but in my opinion it plays a lot better than some of the games mentioned in this thread. I'm awaiting Earth 2170 as always ^^

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/13/08 i personally don't think you can beat the realism or epic scale of the total war series. i love the huge armies, formations, battle lines, because thats how a battle was fought in those times. not "build a secret base of 6 barracks as close as you can to ur enemies base and spam "build footman" button" i did like age of empires 2 though, i just love it. #3 didn't do it for me.

Too many people expected Warcraft 3 to be the next Starcraft with orcs and humans, but that wasn't the intention. Both games are of the same genre, but they are two different games. If there was a choice for a turn-based strategy though, Civ 3 wins.
