Something shining or interesting would certainly draw anyone's attention.What makes us shine?indirectly our thoughts that yields our actions & words.If someone bears such traits in it's personality he/she would certainly draw some attention,provided that person is present among the crowd of peoples who can acknowledge such thoughts,unlike few others who turn "blind" to those.So if you are one of such persons(that I can guess you are) you needn't to pretend to intend.
Can someone ignore the "shine of the Sun","brilliance of a diamond/gem","glow of a candle in the darkness",if the person isn't "blind".But none among these pretend or intend,they are just as they are.
