I am an atheist. Which means I don't follow religion and don't believe in God.
Ok?! I have nothing against religion but I am really fed up of people on here assuming I am religious. I mean why? Is it something to do with me being british? Do people on here think everyone from Britain is highly religious? I really don't get it...I've never references any religion or quoted anything from the Bible...
So can you all stop telling me things like "religion isn't always right you know?" Yes I know. That's why I am an atheist. People from England are not all religous you know?!

I'm an atheist, but I tend to read a lot about religion. I guess you could say I'm religious in a purely metaphorical sense, though I read about everything from Buddhism to Zoroastrianism. However I find the belief in any of the mythologies in a literal sense is quite silly. And the idea of somebody deriving all of their morals from the abrahamic religions is a bit scary, some of the rhetoric in the bible and the koran is downright frightening.
