I'm a Deist, although it's technically a philosophy rather than a religion, as the Deist mode of thought is compatible with many world religions.

Deists believe that God (or whatever name you would rather use instead) is more of the architect of Creation rather than its divine custodian. Essentially, God created the universe according to whatever creation myth you choose to accept, then stepped back to watch it unfold. God does not interfere or interact with the world in any way, because to do so would defeat the purpose of this grand, ineffable experiment.

For a Deist, the pursuit of knowledge, the act of creation and the perfection of the self are the greatest forms of praise that we can give to God, because the more we learn about the mysteries of the universe, the closer we become to the divine.

I suppose I'm an Atheist.

However, to be perfectly honest, I'm more apathetic than anything. I really don't care about any of that stuff and I just try to be nice and respectful to everyone.
