Ichigo & Renji has survived the hot spring & lava pool of Captain Tenjiro Kirinji. Which restore their body yet make harder like a tank. Now they are sent to Captain Kirio Hikifune palce to eat food. In this process is like am senzu bean style. Vegeta state when you get hurt close to death, you will heal yet you will become stronger. This is the proof. They eat her food. The food boos their power to another level. Next they will be send to Captain Oetsu Nimaiya. Which he will repair Renji & Ichigo sword. Their sword will take on another form/shape due to Ichigo & Renji has become stronger. Then last they will get send to Captain Osho for advance training then I believe final they will get sent to see Spirit King which he will reveal the story of the whole thing.

One major question I still have is, can Ichigo still utilize his hollow powers? Also, will the Zero division be able to train him to use his Quincy powers?

I actually kind of expect them to do a little bit of side story between him and Hikifune, considering her contributions to soul society.

In his soul form I see no use for them. They would be helpful while he is on earth to keep him from having to leave his body to deal with minor hollow.
