Naruto 337 - Shikamaru's Skill!
I knew naruto's team was gonna join the battle cant wait for the next chapter...hope we'll get to see some action from sai

I need your help. I am not into Naruto at all, but I'm a wonderful big sister. :D

My brother is watching the anime, but wants to start reading the manga as well. He told me that he's currently on episode 216 [I'm assuming this is the most recent episode] and is having a bit of a hard time finding out what chapter that is in the manga.

This is where you guys come in. Episode 216 = ___ chapter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

no we cant help you bcuz its all fillers, 216 is a filler episode and thus it has nothing to do with the manga

but we can tell you when naruto grows older and everything. its right after teh fight with sasuke and naruto. after that is about kakashi's childhood and then naruto comes back few years later. Now the latest manga summary:

Kakashi, Ino, and Choji are relieved at Team 7's timely arrival. Yamato is surprised to see Kakashi so beat up. Naruto asks where Shikamaru is, to which Choji explains. Yamato orders Sai and Sakura to provide Shikamaru with back up and Kakashi summons Pakkun to lead them. Naruto resolves to defeat Kakuzu on his own and receives words of encouragement from Sakura. Kakashi wonders if Naruto completed his new jutsu. Yamato explains that Naruto is only halfway there, but assures Kakashi that Naruto is a completely new ninja. At Shikamaru's location, Hidan tries to finish off Shikamaru, only to be caught by his shadows again. Having prepared the area in advance, Shikamaru, using his shadows, pulls the explosive tags onto Hidan, and opens a deep pit beneath him. Shikamaru tells Hidan that he dug his own grave by cursing Asuma. At first surprised, Hidan insists that even if only his head survives, he will find a way to escape, and threatens that he will kill Shikamaru. Shikamaru calmly explains that they are on his clan's land, and that his clan will keep Hidan buried for eternity. Lighting a cigarette, Shikamaru sees a vision of Asuma, who thanks him before disappearing. Saying his last goodbye, Shikamaru tosses the lit cigarette at Hidan, igniting the explosive tags covering him and causing a massive explosion.

well logain gave you the answer so i guess theres nothing to do about it but if your brother wants to start reading the manga i recommend he starts on the chapter when Naruto come back from his 2 and 1/2 years of treaning which is i think chapter 245 or start from Kakashi Gaiden which is a couple of chapters before 245

You absolutely have to read Kakashi Gaiden which tells you *somewhat SPOILER* about his father, the forth hokage, and that sharingan he has.
I really want to see Hatake Sukumo(his father) who supposedly stronger than all 3 sannin, fight in a battle. Anyway www.narutofan.com is a good site to use for manga.

The manga is way better than the anime as of yet. They need to stop the fillers already.
