hmm. there was that one time where we were paired to 2 only. to make a collage.
me and my partner ended up making something that should be a "kalesa" that should look like this

but we made one out of cut outs on some old magazines. we made the roof out of plasic bottles picture.
we cut a red fish in a shape of a horse so that became the horse.
the weel on the kalesa was the only actual real looking part of the collage. hehe

Well, for me, I didn't really need to do it for school as in for a mark but it was more like for fun?
So one afternoon, there was a dance-a-thon, read-a-thon, game-a-thon, badminton-a-thon and art-a-thon
And I went into the art-a-thon and there were all these activities you could choose to do and I decided I want to make things with clay. It took a while but I tried making a mouse, but it turned out quite weird.

oh wow!! Its great to see that you guys actually used just everyday items to make something so artistic. What did you guys get on it? I make collages as well but usually they're not for anything related to school. When I'm bored, I just grab some magazines and grab a cardboard box, cut it up and make mini collages of random things. Or I make they for gifts for my friends [for people who are looking to give bday presents: they love homemade things!!]

^_^ really I believe theres no such thing as weird when it comes to art. If it looks "weird" that's your artistic interpretion of a mouse. If someone tells you your artwork looks weird, tell them that thats just their pov.

ANIME:
Visual Characteristics--

Anime is an art form. It places a lot of emphasism on visual styles and these styles vary because of artists and studios. There are different stylizations such as the wild, exaggerated styles to the more realistic styles.
Most common style form known today are the exaggerated large eyes, the gigantic multicolored hair, huge bust/chest and lengthy limbs. [usually include the odd shaped speech bubbles, exclamations and onomatopia]

The use of lines is another sylistic element that is influenced from brush work rather than an artists pen. Since Japanese was traditionally written with a brush, it carries a profound influence on Japanese art. Western art tradionally used a pen and their influence on Japanese art today caused the usage of pens to increase.

Anime also tends to use panel layouts to tell a story. These panels allow the story to be understood easily since the reader can take their time to visually take in what is happening in each panel.

Everyone please memorize these vocabs for next lesson:
Chibi:super deformed/exaggerated miniatures
Face Fault:the display of an extremely exaggerated facial expression. [i.e.T_T means crying. O_O; ^_^ >.>; etc etc etc]
Vein/Stressmark Effect:involve the use of lines that represent bulging veins that will appear on foreheads.
Bloody Nose Effect:indicates arousal or female love interests.
Sweatdrop Effect:represent Embarresment
