They should be careful, it's getting more dangerous around here, and it's also pretty creepy when they knock doors to strangers I mean who knows what kind of people they are, so in other words even though Halloween looks scary it is scary when comes to your life being risked.... god why am I taking this so seriously ?

If it wasn't for the free candies, Halloween would not be popular.

are u kiddin me? the only reason i ever partook in halloween was for the costumes. I still dress up and run around outside at night like an idiot. Even though i live in england now and NO ONE does it here, it's so boring.

Honestly, with all the kidnappings, murder, robbery arson and poisoned candy out there, Halloween isn't safe anymore. Also I noticed that those who did still trick or treat are often very greedy. Wanting an extra five pieces of candy and being rude about it isn't very fesitive or kind. Besides, if kids really want candy that badly, why not simply go to a Circle K or Seven Eleven?

I am glad that it is eventually dying out, there is too much danger involed in Halloween. Also, since Halloween on a schoolday, shouldn't kids be studying and going homework instead?

Eh, I think it's fun dressing up in customes but I don't like walking the streets asking for some candy. Who knows if halloween will die off or not, it should just be a day for people to dress up in weird customs a least. X3

I don't celebrate it, neither do my country.. well maybe the Capital with all those foreigners and their cultures. To be honest I don't like those foreigners, but that is another topic.

How much more dangerous is is halloween, then just walking around the block with your friends. On Halloween, there are ALOT more kids out, and people outside, thus, a kidnapping would probobly go noticed if someone screamed, thank you. Sure there is danger in the candy, but don't eat anything if it looks like it has been tampered with. I don't eat any apples at all I get from halloween. I still trick or treat. There are a TON of kids who trick or treat around here. I have no clue what has gotten into the head of people where you live. Halloween is a really, REALLY big deal here. I spend alot of money on costumes, we scare the kids, its all really fun. Halloween may die off where you live, but its not gonna die off here, thats for sure.
To make Halloween safe all we need to do is administer some common sense. The smaller kids should go with an adult. Teenagers should be able to handle themselves. Give them a time limit to come back by, so they don't stay out untill 11. Make them carry flashlights and other lights. Travel in groups. A kidnapper would much rather take a lone child than a group of 5 or 6.
