That being said, lots of kids in my community attend the big Mall family events where it is just families in one environment and it is safer. Also, we go to large halloween parties every year, so while Trick-or-Treating may be over, haloween and dressing up and going to parties will never die off I think

And lot's of houses were actually decorated, plus nowadays people give like 1 piece of candy. Back them I was able to fill 3-5 bags of candy. Oh yeah & a few years ago I tried trick or treating & some lady gave me an apple.... no candy.
