1. Well, I've actually seen another group for this, but...in short, Japanese food. I watch a lot of anime, but don't know much about what the guys are talking about when they're eating. So maybe some explanation (or a list) of Japanese dishes and snacks (the translators usually include notes in animes - a good place to start), what they eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner...how to make a bento (I uploaded a pic), etc.

2. Also, again, other groups for this, but...short explanations of Japanese grammar/words/phrases commonly used in anime titles / animes...like "o with a line over it" vs. "ou" or "the meaning of 'no'" or "nekko mimi", etc.

3. There's a ton of Japanese expressions used in anime (translators usually include definitions in notes) which I find interesting...also "urban legends", such as what happens to a spirit when its headstone is broken (Soul Eater)...

4. Just as in English you can say "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" or "Please forgive me" or "I didn't mean it" there seems to be quite a few Japanese expressions which are always translated the same way...I'm kind of curious about what the variations of things like "hello" or "I'm sorry" or "shut up" or "thank you" or "let's go" really mean...
